Outback & Camel Safari
Our Outback & Camel Safari is an unforgettable eco-adventure. In small groups, our off-road Unimogs trucks take you deep into the heart of the Baja outback on a voyage of discovery and wonder. Spectacular views, knowledgeable guides, delicious cuisine and an exciting beach camel ride in Rancho San Cristobal make this an exclusive adventure in Baja. During the winter months, be sure to keep an eye out for humpback whales as they swim past the ranch.
Meet your New Friends
Once at the ranch, our knowledgeable and entertaining guides will introduce you to the area and take you on a gentle nature walk through untouched desert vegetation and amongst indigenous flora and fauna for a true eco-educational experience.
Unique Camel Ride on Private Beach
Take a short drive down an arroyo to a breathtaking beach overlooking the Pacific for an exciting camel ride. These gentle giants will take you on a fun and unique caravan across the white sands of the beach. Enjoy the spectacular view of the sea and desert from atop the camel, and, in the winter, keep an eye out for whales swimming past just offshore.
Savour Authentic Mexican Cuisine
But your journey isn’t over yet. It’s on to a local ranch, where you’ll have a chance to catch your breath and savor some traditional Mexican food of hand-made tortillas, beans and salsas.
Drive though the desert in out open-air Mercedes-Benz Unimog 4×4 truck and admire the sights along the way. See ancient cacti that are more than 300 years old and taller than a 4-story building. Watch for desert creatures. Discover a desert that is full of life.
Taste the Spirit of Mexico
Enjoy an educational, fun and tasty Tequila tasting session. Your guide will teach you how this regional spirit is made and about the different types of tequila. You will also taste Mezcal, the one with the worm, and learn how it is different from tequila.
